Tulkarm - Saba:
Israeli enemy forces continue their aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 49th consecutive day, and for the 36th day against the Nour Shams camp, amid an unprecedented escalation that includes intensive raids on homes, forcing Palestinian citizens to leave, and burning and bombing others. The siege and raids continue, amid ongoing military reinforcements.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that Israeli forces continue to demolish homes in various neighborhoods of the Tulkarm camp, forcing residents to leave under threat and intimidation, preventing them from returning. They are particularly targeting the areas of Hanoun Square, Qaqun, and Abu al-Ful.
The agency added, citing eyewitnesses, that residents of Tulkarm camp were displaced after midnight last night, after the Zionist enemy raided homes, searched them, and vandalized their contents. Meanwhile, residents of the Dhnaba neighborhood near the camp were issued notices to evacuate their homes by 12 noon today.
Yesterday, Saturday, Zionist enemy forces forced the remaining residents of the Murabba'a Hanoun neighborhood in Tulkarm camp to evacuate their homes by force, amid threats and warnings that anyone found afterward would be arrested.
In a related development, infantry units deployed extensively in and around the camp this morning, pursuing Palestinian citizens as they attempted to leave their homes and collect their basic necessities. They also seized more homes inside the camp, turning them into military barracks and sniper positions.
In another escalation, Israeli occupation forces burned down the al-Ghoul family's home in the Madaris neighborhood of Nour Shams camp. They also blew up the home of Saher Ra'iq and his mother in the same neighborhood, setting them ablaze. They raided several homes in the camp, specifically in Jabal al-Nasr and al-Mahjar neighborhoods, searching them, destroying their contents, detaining their residents, and subjecting them to field interrogation.
At the same time, Israeli occupation forces dispatched military reinforcements toward the city and its two camps, passing through its main streets. They obstructed the movement of Palestinian civilians and vehicles, while reinforcing their heavy machinery and bulldozers in front of buildings they had seized on Nablus Street, turning them into military barracks, and around the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps. They set up mobile checkpoints to restrict civilian movement.
In the same context, Israeli occupation forces raided a number of shops on Shuweika Street in the northern neighborhood of the city last night. They conducted thorough searches and interrogated employees before forcing the owners to close their shops. They also fired sound bombs and live ammunition to terrorize residents.
During this campaign, they arrested a Palestinian citizen after storming his shop, vandalizing its contents, and assaulting him. He was then detained and transferred to the hospital for treatment.
These attacks come in the context of the ongoing escalation by Israeli occupation forces in the city of Tulkarm and its two camps, which has resulted in the deaths of 13 Palestinian citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens have also been injured and arrested, and more than 12,000 people have been forcibly displaced from Nour Shams Camp and another 12,000 from Tulkarm Camp.
The aggression also caused widespread destruction to the infrastructure, including water, electricity, sewage, and communications networks, as well as homes, shops, and vehicles, which were completely and partially demolished, burned, vandalized, looted, and stolen.
