Sana'a - Saba:
First deputy of the Prime Minister Mohammed Meftah and Minister of Transport Mohammed Quhaim inspected on Thursday al-Hatarish Market Road rehabilitation and expansion project in Sana'a province.
Accompanied by the Mayor of Sana'a and the Governor of Sana'a, they reviewed progress on the project's first phase, which includes road widening, stone paving, asphalt work, and the construction of a one-kilometer concrete bridge. Officials were briefed on the challenges posed by heavy traffic and the lack of alternative routes.
The 155 million Y.R project, jointly funded by the Capital Sana'a, Sana'a province, and the Road Maintenance Fund, is a vital artery connecting the capital to northern districts and Marib province.
Officials praised the work of the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges and other involved entities, calling for accelerated efforts to complete the project and ease traffic congestion.
