Sana'a - Saba:
The National Women's Committee in Yemen has strongly condemned the US airstrikes targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in Sana'a and other provinces.
In a statement released on Thursday, the committee described the US aggression on "unarmed civilians in residential neighborhoods" as a "flagrant violation" of international law and humanitarian conventions.
The committee denounced the "crimes and massacres" against women and children, adding that they are part of a broader pattern of US aggression against the Yemeni people. They also criticized the US for violating Yemen's sovereignty and attempting to "subjugate the free people of Yemen."
The statement also condemned the "deafening silence" of the United Nations and the Security Council regarding the US actions.
The committee called on "peoples and free people of the world" to condemn the "horrific crimes" committed by the US and Israel enemy against the Yemeni and Palestinian people. They urged demonstrations and sit-ins until the aggression against Yemen and Gaza ends, crossings are opened, and aid reaches Gaza residents.
