Sana'a - Saba:
The General Authority for Antiquities and Museums has received two ancient tombstones from the Security and Intelligence Service, one believed to belong to Imam Abu al-Fath al-Daylami or his followers, and the other of unknown origin.
Obad al-Hayal, head of the Authority, highlighted the significance of these artifacts and the ongoing efforts to study and document them scientifically.
He commended the security services for their role in seizing and safeguarding the archaeological pieces, preventing their illegal trade.
The handover, announced on Monday, is part of a broader initiative to preserve Yemen's historical heritage.
The Antiquities Authority plans to conduct a detailed examination of the tombstones to accurately determine their historical context, contributing to a deeper understanding of the era they represent.
