Russia's international foreign exchange reserves rose by 8.5 billion dollars in March to more than 650.4 billion dollars, the Central Bank of Russia announced on Thursday.
"The volume of Russia's international reserves includes highly liquid foreign assets, including foreign exchange, gold and special drawing rights, and recorded more than 650.4 billion dollars in March," the Russian central bank said in a press release.
The statement added that
"Foreign reserves play a key role in supporting the country's financial stability amid global economic challenges and high levels of inflation."
