Sana'a - Saba:
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.

O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.

O Allah! Guide us and grant us acceptance, for You are the Hearing, the Knowing; accept our repentance, for You are the Relenting and the Merciful.

Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

Allah (Glory be to Him) says in the Holy Quran:

{'And We declared to the Children of Israel in the Scripture, “You will certainly cause corruption in the land twice, and you will surely show utmost haughtiness. When the time appointed for the first of the two would come, We would send against you some of Our servants of great might, who would comb through your homes. This would be a promise fulfilled. Then We would allow you to prevail against them, and We would aid you with wealth and offspring and make you more in soldiery. If you do good, you do good for for yourselves, but if you do wrong, it is to your own loss. Then when the time appointed for the final [second] promise would come, they would sadden your faces and enter the Mosque, as they entered it the first time, and they would destroy what they had taken over with [total] destruction. It may be that your Lord may have mercy on you, but if you return [to sin], We will return [to punishment]. And We have made Jahannam a prison-bed for the disbelievers"'}[Al-Isra 17:4-8].

On the twentieth day of the blessed month of Ramadan in 1399 A.H., Imam Khomeini declared the last Friday of Ramadan to be annually observed as an international day of Al-Quds. He called upon all Muslims across the Islamic world to commemorate this day with demonstrations, gatherings, and events, making it a day of awakening for all Muslim peoples, and a day for the general mobilisation of Muslims. This is to ensure that the Palestinian cause remains alive in the hearts of Muslims and that the sentiments of jihad and of rejecting Israel continue to thrive in the souls of Muslims.

The title (Al-Quds Day) and the time (the last Friday of the blessed month of Ramadan) remind Muslims of their religious responsibility towards Palestine, Al-Aqsa, and Al-Quds. They remind Muslims of their responsibility towards the oppressed Palestinian people, the land of Palestine (which is a blessed Muslim land), and the great injustice faced by the Palestinian people. This injustice has persisted for over a century, starting with the British occupation, followed by the criminal Israeli enemy, which has been conducting continuous aggression and daily crimes against the Palestinian people for over seven decades. Additionally, this aggression and occupation have extended to other Arab countries and continue to threaten several nations, posing a real threat to other countries as well.

This year, the occasion coincided with unprecedented developments in several directions. The first one is the scale of Israeli criminality against the Palestinian people, in full partnership with America at all levels: military, political, and beyond. This happened for over fifteen months, only for the Israeli enemy to resume its aggression, acts of genocide, and overt starvation, with an explicit blockade preventing the entry of food and medicine into Gaza in any form: no aid, no goods, or anything else. This is not to mention the blatant violation of the Palestinians' right to life, with comprehensive killings by all means of violence and brutality. This aims to break the will of the Palestinian people and push them towards surrender and total collapse. These crimes are being openly committed in the full view of the world.

The second development is that the intentions of the Israeli enemy have now been exposed, as well as those of the American enemy, as they have a shared agenda. They are now openly discussed and enjoy overt political and media mobilisation. These intentions include eliminating the Palestinian cause, displacing the Palestinian people, and expanding the occupation into the surrounding countries of Palestine, in order to pave the way for subsequent phases in which the Israeli Zionist project will be accomplished from the Nile to the Euphrates.

Previously, the Americans and Israelis relied on practical steps while employing a tactic of deception, especially towards the official Arab regimes. The Americans would talk about peace, settlement, and other such matters. However, this time, the Americans themselves are openly discussing displacement; there is no longer any mention of political settlement, a Palestinian state, or similar topics.

This coincides with committing genocide and starvation against the Palestinian people in Gaza, along with increasing destruction and displacement in the West Bank. This is not to mention the open effort to Judaise the city of Al-Quds and the intensified incursions and violations of Al-Aqsa Mosque, along with additional restrictions and harassment for its visitors.

The openly declared American talk about displacement is considered a major scandal for the Americans. It exposes them to anyone who wishes to be oblivious and ignore their true nature. This represents a transition, as I mentioned, from the deceptive stages of the past under the guise of settlement, to this new stage of exposure and frantic movement. This is a shift towards clear subsequent stages: the effort to eliminate the Palestinian cause, the displacement of the Palestinian people, and the expansion into the neighboring countries surrounding Palestine. This exposure is also one of the important developments that coincided with this occasion at this stage.

The third development is the great resilience, steadfastness, and heroism the Palestinians showed in the face of all that targeting. This incredible level of resilience exhibited by the Palestinian people in Gaza and the steadfastness of their mujahidin represent an unprecedented development as well. Operation Al-Aqsa Flood has marked a new leap in the Palestinian performance, and so has the tremendous resilience demonstrated during this battle. The weakness of the Israeli enemy became evident in the face of this resilience and this significant shift. They completely resorted to American support, relying on it entirely. Moreover, the American involvement in this regard was unprecedented. Additionally, there was Western support, notably from Britain, Germany, and France, and there were also others who provided substantial assistance to the Israeli enemy. Without this support, the Israeli enemy would have found itself in an unprecedentedly shaky and confused position following the blow dealt by Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. Furthermore, even before this operation, there were doubts about whether that criminal and usurping entity could persist.

The Israelis and the Americans together launched aggression to face the Palestinian resistance, which showed remarkable resilience and steadfastness. They have responded to this heroic Palestinian resistance to Israeli aggression by resorting to genocide and widespread destruction. In other words, they did not choose to confront the military steadfastness of the Palestinians (thanks to the effective, strong, and steadfast performance of the mujahidin) through military action by directing their military operations towards the mujahidin and targeting only them. Instead, they resorted to a different approach: a criminal, brutal, and comprehensive approach aimed at the extermination of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip in general and the complete destruction of all means of life there. This included the demolition of buildings, the use of incendiary devices, and the use of all means of destruction to destroy cities, villages, neighbourhoods, and homes, as well as hospitals, water wells, schools, mosques, and all life essentials. Instead of engaging in a military battle, they pursued this brutal criminal approach. Through that approach, they aimed to pressure the armed and jihadist wing of the resistance in Palestine to surrender and collapse.

The fourth important development is the steadfastness of its base of support and the community in Gaza amidst an extremely difficult situation, marked by great injustice and unparalleled suffering. This incredible level of resilience exhibited by the Palestinian people in Gaza, in the face of such horrific criminality, acts of genocide, comprehensive destruction, starvation, and extermination by all means, represents an unprecedented development not only in the history of Palestinian people but also in the history of the peoples of the region in general.

The fifth development, which is important, is the supporting fronts and the sacrifices they have made. This starts with Lebanon, where Hezbollah made the largest sacrifices in support of the Palestinian people and the mujahidin in the Gaza Strip. It made a significant, substantial, important, distinguished, and impactful contribution in the battle and confrontation against the Israeli enemy. Likewise, Yemen provided comprehensive support and acted at all levels, including conducting military operations, disrupting maritime navigation for the Israeli enemy, and launching strikes deep into occupied Palestine using missiles and drones to target the Israeli enemy. Additionally, Yemen made significant efforts at the political, media, and grassroots levels, with millions taking to the streets and participating in numerous public events unmatched worldwide. Moreover, in Iraq, the significant and vital role of the Islamic Resistance factions was notable. The Islamic Republic of Iran played a fundamental and pivotal role, as it consistently supported the Palestinian people and their dear mujahidin and participated through the operations of True Promise. The enemy recognises the magnitude and importance of that role and continually seeks to exert pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran through maximum pressure tactics, including economic sanctions and political isolation, in an attempt to influence its steadfast position that has always remained unchanged since the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

The Sixth development is that the Ummah's reality and the official position of the Arab world, primarily before even considering the rest of the Islamic world, has been exposed and sorted out. This major sorting has revealed the reality of the official Arab regimes. There are those who displayed unprecedented passivity. Even though passivity has long been the norm—{'before and after you came to us'}[Al-A'raf 7:129]—since the very beginning of the Palestinian cause, this time, in this round, the level of passivity has reached an unprecedented degree, even concerning the most basic practical positions. In addition, there are those who actively colluded with the enemy in one way or another.

This sorting process is part of Allah's way in revealing the reality of Muslims—those who belong to the great religion of Islam, with its noble principles, great values, and faith-based commitments against oppression and tyranny and in support of the oppressed. Allah says, {'Do you think that you will be left [as you are] while Allah has not yet made evident those among you who strive [for His cause] and do not take other than Allah, His Messenger, and the believers as intimates?'}[At-Tawbah 9:16]: This is a test of one's position, jihad, and allegiance. {'Who strive [for His cause] and do not take other than Allah, His Messenger, and the believers as intimates'} means those who align themselves with outsiders, with the enemies of this Ummah, instead of aligning themselves with the believers. {'And Allah is All-Aware of what you do'}[At-Tawbah 9:16].

The seventh development is the exposure of international institutions, foremost among which are the United Nations, the Security Council, and human rights and humanitarian organisations, along with the disgrace of the West. This is an unprecedented development: Although these institutions were already in a shameful, exposed, and discredited position, the scale of Zionist Israeli Jewish criminality against the Palestinian people and the daily genocide committed for fifteen months, followed by its resumption in recent days, exposed them even further! The magnitude of the Palestinian tragedy has revealed the truth about them: They are not genuinely committed to the causes they claim to work for, nor to the purposes for which these institutions were supposedly established, such as human rights and global security and stability. In the face of such immense suffering, their reality has become undeniably clear and understood, even to the most oblivious. The same applies to the way the West deals with humanitarian calls within its own countries, whether within university activism or beyond. We will address this point later.

The United Nations has not taken any practical step—beyond mere statements and declarations—against the acts of genocide practised by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, as well as its extensive criminality and aggression in the West Bank against the Palestinian people there.

The United Nations already recognised the Israeli enemy as a state on the Palestinian land and granted it membership! This is a grave crime and an immense burden from which it has never freed itself. At the very least, the United Nations should have revoked its recognition of the Israeli entity, as it is invalid from the outset. It should have withdrawn that recognition and expelled the Israeli enemy and stripped it of its membership. The least it could have done was to take this step to lessen its burden and rid itself of this disgrace.

Likewise, the Security Council has demonstrated that the security of the oppressed Palestinian people, the security of the nations of the region (the Arab and Muslim peoples), and the security of the oppressed peoples of the world are not among its concerns. It has demonstrated that it cares only for the security of the arrogant tyrants and criminal oppressors of this world, ensuring their safety while enabling them to oppress other nations, subject them to injustice, and leave them without security, stability, independence, or freedom, turning them into oppressed and subjugated peoples. The Security Council has taken no serious position against this reality. Other organisations, as well, have no serious position against the Israeli enemy. In fact, their reality has been exposed.

The eighth development has to do with the free position of the free people of the world. There are certain countries that have taken a free position and adopted concrete measures, such as Venezuela, South Africa, and Colombia. Their position is marked by seriousness rather than mere statements or rhetoric. They have taken practical steps: They have severed their ties with the Israeli enemy at the political and economic levels, and they have also made it clear that this position is taken in support of the Palestinian people against the Zionist Israeli and American criminality.

Thus, their actions have been practical. Several countries around the world, outside the Islamic and Arab world, have adopted such a robust level: cutting both political and economic ties and even mobilising their judicial systems to prosecute any Israeli criminal who enters their territories. Indeed, these countries have seen their governments, leaders, and official systems take practical measures more than Arab countries, the official Arab regimes, and most Islamic regimes in the Muslim world.

We also find that the humanitarian call of free people and those who still possess a human conscience even in Western societies—manifested in the demonstrations and activities that took place in America, within American universities and the grassroots communities, including both immigrant and non-immigrant groups, despite facing severe oppression, repression, and humiliation—has exposed the true nature of Western regimes, even within their own countries: It is clear how they dealt with this humanitarian call, despite the fact that it was expressed through activities fully protected by their constitutions and laws: It did not go beyond demonstrations, protests, and sit-ins at universities to show solidarity with the Palestinian people and demand an end to the genocide against them. In response, these regimes acted in an aggressive way.

Police forces employed repressive and degrading methods: They treated students and university lecturers who participated in those activities in a violent, demeaning, and unjust manner, and they handled the demonstrations in a brutal way. This is clearly shown in the television footage documenting those repressive and aggressive practices in America, Britain, Germany, France, several other European countries, and even in Australia and beyond.

This has exposed them: It has become clear that they do not care about freedom of expression, human rights, or the guaranteed rights of peoples when it comes to opposing the genocide of the Palestinian people and protesting against the barbaric, criminal, and brutal aggression by Israel. This has also revealed the extent of the official control and influence of Zionism in the Western world over orientations and policies.

Additionally, they also waved the banner of 'anti-Semitism' to justify the suppression of any protest against the genocide of the Palestinian people. They now defend all types of crimes committed by the Israeli enemy and stifle any criticism of them—even through words. Their approach has grown increasingly stringent, especially with the recent measures announced by the infidel criminal Trump against universities that witnessed activities in solidarity with the oppression of the Palestinian people and protests against the genocide perpetrated by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinians. These strict measures aim at silencing any humanitarian voice that expresses solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of such oppression.

This is all about the prominent developments that coincide with current events.

Regarding the current situation, the Israeli enemy has openly moved to violate the agreement that was guaranteed by other parties, including the Americans as guarantors for the Israeli enemy. The Americans have joined the Israelis (both being criminal, oppressive enemies) in breaching the agreement, denying it, and circumventing it and the guarantees they made. They blatantly and shamelessly have broken their guarantees and obligations, as if they meant nothing. There are several developments concerning the current situation.

It is well known that the agreement to halt the aggression on Gaza was a result of the clear failure of the Israeli enemy to achieve the declared objectives of its attacks. Indeed, it failed to recover the prisoners without a swap deal, to end the resistance in Gaza and eliminate the mujahidin, and to force the Palestinian people of Gaza into surrender.

Despite the heinousness of the unparalleled barbaric criminality and the American partnership in it and despite the supportive Western role, it ultimately failed.

Consequently, an agreement was reached to stop the aggression in clear terms, with specific and unambiguous obligations in two phases. The agreement was clear regarding matters that concern the Palestinian people. In fact, these matters are humanitarian and legitimate entitlements that are recognised globally. This means they are not unfair conditions or political demands divorced from humanitarian considerations or legitimate rights, nor are they excessive conditions. Rather, as they are commitments within the agreement, they are basically—even before being part of this agreement— legitimate human rights recognised globally as rights guaranteed for all peoples. These entitlements involve the following:

  • prisoners; and
  • -upon number of wounded and sick individuals from leaving for treatment.
  • drawn from the light and guidance of the Quran, due to the greater focus on the recitation of the Holy Quran.
  • and kill anyone it wants, in any number, without facing any opposition. In other words, the Israeli enemy would have the freedom to kill whomever it wants, in whatever numbers it desires; even if it committed mass murders and genocide here or there, no one should oppose or speak out against it.
  • including the rape of women—one of the crimes committed by the Israeli enemy—and the rape of men, which is another crime it carries out and even boasts about, publishing videos of such acts, including those from its prisons.
  • land, and resources; this is the state the enemy desires for the region.
  • allowing it to make decisions in any domain, including interfering in political affairs, appointing officials and leaders, and influencing a range of issues such as educational curricula, cultural matters, and more.
  • Allah has laid out a complete programme for us in Surah Ali 'Imran and Surah Al-Ma'idah for achieving victory over them. In this important path and great programme, He has outlined the key steps and details involved, which include aligning oneself with Allah in a way that manifests itself in reality, holding fast to Him and His rope: {'Whoever holds firmly to Allah is surely guided to the Straight Path'}[Ali 'Imran 3:101]; {'And all of you must hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not be divided'}[Ali 'Imran 3:103]. We are also called to follow His guidance and teachings and be conscious of Allah through remaining true to our faith and fulfilling our sacred responsibilities in jihad for the sake of Allah by every means available in all fields of jihad, and in enjoining what is good and forbidding what is wrong as an Ummah that acts collectively and guards against division and conflict within itself. As a result, Allah (the Almighty) will grant victory to the Ummah, and it will prevail through His support and assistance.
  • Firstly, during the operation of Al-Aqsa Flood, they were the ones who started the aggression against us in support of the Israeli enemy. Although our position was clear and exclusive against the Israeli enemy, they launched their aggression against us, and we responded to their aggression in kind.
  • This time, they announced a new escalation in their aggression against us. They have launched aggression against us, so we are responding and resisting their aggression.

Every term in the agreement concerning the Palestinian people represents obligations within the agreement on one hand, and on the other, they are legitimate humanitarian entitlements guaranteed to the Palestinian people and recognised worldwide. Indeed, they are established rights of the Palestinian people.

In order to ensure the success of this agreement, the Islamic Resistance Movement made numerous concessions within the available threshold, without compromising the core of the Palestinian cause or these rights, which are human rights recognised universally. Among these concessions was agreeing to a Palestinian temporary administration through a Palestinian committee of the Gaza Strip until a national unity government is formed. It also made concessions in other areas.

It was very keen to ensure the success of the agreement, and it fulfilled all of its obligations under the agreement at the first phase. In other words, it adhered to its obligations of the first phase and implemented them fully. There wasn't a single instance where the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) fell short on any clause, refrained from implementing it, or implemented it partially without fully honouring it.

In contrast, the Israeli enemy did not fulfil its obligations under the first phase of the agreement, not in terms of the type and quantity of humanitarian aid that was explicitly agreed upon with specific figures to enter the Gaza Strip during the first phase.

This is not to mention other various aspects. There are a lot of details that the Palestinian brothers often speak about in their statements. Moreover, the Israeli enemy did not complete its withdrawal agreed upon as part of the first phase of the agreement. It has violated the agreement in various ways. It did not fully commit to the ceasefire and continues to kill and attack, using drones, shelling with artillery, and shooting gunfire by its criminal soldiers. Thus, there are repeated and ongoing assaults, which have resulted in a large number of martyrs. In contrast, the Palestinian side has completely fulfilled all its commitments.

Following that, the Israeli enemy sought to completely evade entering into the second phase of the agreement, which was part of the agreement, had guarantors, and was guaranteed by the Americans. In fact, the Americans encouraged the Israelis to evade, disavow, deny, and violate the agreement and its commitments and supported them in resuming their aggression once again. The Israeli enemy resumed its aggression by committing acts of genocide from the very first day, killing one hundred eighty children in just a single day in the Gaza Strip. This is a brutal crime against humanity and is a blot on the international community and on America itself that has encouraged the Israeli enemy.

The Americans have been clear that they fully adopt the Israeli enemy's actions of breaching the agreement, resuming aggression, and committing genocide against the Palestinian people, as well as preventing the entry of aid. For several weeks now, the Israeli enemy has been blocking food and medicine from reaching the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The Americans state that these actions were taken with their consultation and that they fully supported, adopted, and encouraged those actions. The American officials tell the Israelis, 'Exterminate them all'—they adopt this logic! In fact, the Americans have no problem with the extermination of the Palestinian people.

Since his first day, the very American criminal Trump has spoken openly and clearly about the issue of displacing the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip, despite being the guarantor of implementing a clear agreement for the Israeli enemy's withdrawal from Gaza, halting its aggression, and allowing aid to enter the Gaza Strip. Yet he openly denies his commitments.

This is the nature of barbarism and tyranny: There is no loyalty to anything. They deny what are considered part of human rights and commitments that should be seen as humanitarian and moral obligations. They reject all of this, including the obligations under the signedagreement that have been mutually agreed upon—they show no concern. That is, they act with savagery, tyranny, criminality, and brutality, showing no regard for anything: no values, no morals, no humanity, no laws, no treaties—nothing. Indeed, they deny everything.

Backed and supported by the Americans, the Israelis have returned to their strategy of siege, starvation, and genocide, using the same American bombs to target the Palestinian people in Gaza. They strike them in their tents and the ruins of homes they have already destroyed, carrying out daily massacres. Children, women, the elderly—none are spared. Once again, they commit genocide without any justification. They have no justification for violating the agreement. They cannot claim Hamas failed to meet its obligations. Hamas upheld its end. Yet they continue their aggression unchecked. On top of that, as we've said, they deny things that are considered a humanitarian entitlement and among their obligations under the agreement. This is about Gaza.

In Lebanon, too, there is an agreement—with the Americans acting as primary guarantors for Israel, alongside a five-member committee. Yet the Israeli enemy persists in grave violations: drone strikes, aerial bombardments, and the killing of Lebanese civilians—repeatedly and with escalating intensity. It even escalates its raids sometimes. They occupy Lebanese territory, refusing to withdraw, breaching the agreement. They continue their assaults against Lebanon through artillery shelling, ground incursions, and sometimes kidnappings—the assaults take many forms.

In Syria, the Israeli enemy continues to entrench its control over three southern regions, expanding its occupation with the aim of reaching areas near Damascus. It continues its airstrikes, sometimes intensively, to cripple Syria's capabilities. It has seized the Yarmouk Basin—Syria's most vital water source.

Despite all that, the situation appears as if it were perfectly normal. The international and Arab stance, along with that of organisations and institutions, remains shockingly indifferent, as if it were perfectly normal. This is nothing less than an outright violation in every sense of the word.

Amid these unprecedented acts of aggression, the shared goals between the Americans and Israelis are now exposed and laid bare. It is crystal clear that they aim to eliminate the Palestinian cause, to expel the Palestinian people from their land, and to expand their domination over neighbouring countries. They also want to ensure that the Israeli enemy can gain total control over the region, some parts through occupation while others through total dominance. The Israeli enemy also seeks to impose a reality of total impunity against these peoples so that it can kill at will, bomb wherever it wants, plunder as it desires, and act without restraint.

Arab inaction is one of the factors that embolden these enemies. The Arabs did not officially take any action that could meet the minimal practical level required or even rise to the level of action taken by countries like Venezuela or South Africa. They did not engage in political or economic boycotts or take tangible measures. Instead—and this is deeply shameful—they wait for permission from the Americans and Israelis to deliver bread, food, and medicine to the starving people of Gaza! Even at this purely humanitarian level—which is, at the same time, a great responsibility—they hesitate and let the Palestinians starve before their very eyes. Why? It is simply because the Israelis have not allowed them to provide flour, wheat, or food. They wait for American and Israeli permission. This level of degradation in their position is unfortunate and emboldens the Israelis and the Americans.

Officially, the Arab states have failed to reconsider their choices and policies. Although their policies have long proven futile, they keep holding fast to them! They hold summits, reaffirm their commitment to the peace process and the Arab Initiative—the old Saudi proposal that the Israelis rejected outright from the beginning, despite its enormous concessions. Back then, Sharon made his refusal perfectly clear.

In fact, the Arabs have adopted a policy of appeasement towards the Americans at the official level. However, this policy has yielded nothing. Their statements have achieved nothing. They keep repeating what has already been proven to have no impact, no significance, and no outcome. It has become an almost futile act—repeating what has no value, no importance, and no benefit whatsoever. The enemy never appreciates this in the slightest, and it leads to no results whatsoever. It is, in essence, a series of futile actions.

If these options were effective, they would have yielded benefits regarding the situation in Syria by now. The current direction is quite evident in Syria concerning those groups in control there. They do not show or declare enmity towards Israel, while they are hostile towards Israel's enemies! However, this has proven ineffective. They do not respond to the actions of the Israeli enemy, despite the severity of its aggression—extensive occupation of territory, devastating bombardment, and inflicting human casualties, dead and wounded. They remain silent in the face of all this; however, this has not worked. If this approach had been truly beneficial, Israel would have responded differently. It would have stated that it would treat them with respect and withdraw from the Syrian Golan Heights instead of occupying new territories. It would have said that it would treat them with kindness, just as they treated it with kindness and respect. However, it responded to their respect with barbarism and tyranny, and to their silence with further aggression. Therefore, these options are really ineffective.

The Palestinian Authority in the West Bank is in a similar situation; its condition is well known. Israel reneges on all its agreements and obligations with it, which means that it is following a path that is neither viable nor beneficial.

Therefore, the Muslim Ummah should recognise its responsibility towards this matter. We are in the month of Ramadan, the month of fasting, the month of pursuing jihad and reinforcing piety. It is the month in which the Holy Quran was first revealed and serves as the springtime of the Quran. So there are key indicators of benefiting from this blessed month:

These should be among the fruits, outcomes, and effects of the blessed month of Ramadan.

The responsibility towards the Palestinian cause and the position against the Israeli threat—which targets the entire Muslim Ummah—is a religious duty upon the entire Ummah. It is a responsibility that falls upon everyone, not limited to one nation, one country, one group, or one sect. It is a collective responsibility. It is a religious responsibilityas well as a humanitarian one that the entire world should support. For Muslims, this is a religious responsibility and a moral and faith-based obligation. This means that commitment to this cause is an essential part of our religious duties, alongside prayer, fasting, and other acts of worship. We believe that neglecting these duties entails accountability and punishment, and we will be questioned about them on the Day of Resurrection and rewarded accordingly by Allah. Therefore, we must recognise this truth: It is a religious duty, and ignoring or turning a blind eye to it is not a trivial matter.

The Israeli enemy poses an immense threat to all Muslims—a threat that is comprehensive. It is a criminal enemy whose extreme brutality, savagery, and bloodlust have been starkly evident in Gaza. Why do Muslims not take heed? Why hasn't the understanding that Israel is an enemy that poses such a significant threat become deeply ingrained? It is an entity of unparalleled cruelty, criminality, and bloodlust. It exterminates children without an ounce of mercy, without the slightest trace of human conscience. It murders women, children, the elderly, and the young with bombs, annihilating them through every possible means of extermination—even through starvation and by depriving them of heating resources until children perish from the cold—all while taking pleasure in their suffering.

It is an enemy of such a level of brutality and criminality. It unleashed police dogs upon the elderly and the sick to be mauled to death. It killed patients in hospitals, executing them by gunfire and employing every possible means of killing and annihilation. It sheds blood with utter savagery, lacking any human consideration.

It is a covetous enemy, even unparalleled in its greed. It has an immense greed and terrifying avarice. It seeks to occupy the land; they covet your land, O Arabs, your wealth, and your countries. It strives to seize territories and plunder resources, even water resources. What it is doing in Syria is well known, just as what it did to Jordan. The resources of drinking water for the Jordanian people are now under its control. Its conspiracies against Iraq and Egypt, particularly regarding water, are also evident. It seeks to wage war against you even over a sip of water and to plunder your resources. It is striving for full control over the region, aiming to become the dominant force within it, holding absolute authority and the unchecked right to violate everything within the region and act as it pleases.

It frequently speaks of its plan to change the face of the Middle East. Just yesterday, the criminal Netanyahu mentioned this very concept: changing the face of the Middle East. He means your countries—what else could he possibly intend? Should we pretend he was referring to some mythical land like the Waq Waq or a fabled island from legends? In reality, he is speaking about your countries, O Arabs! His statement clearly exposes his true intentions when he speaks of changing the face of the Middle East. He continues his efforts in partnership with the Americans as part of their shared Zionist project to establish the 'Greater Israel'.

To recall, the Zionist project aims to achieve the following:

  • by controlling the entirety of the Levant, along with parts of Egypt, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia from the Arabian Peninsula. So, first and foremost, it seeks to create a very large state, the largest in the region.
  • These statelets would remain in constant conflict with one another, turning their hostility against each other, forming a fragmented ummah devoid of any unifying bonds and without strength to protect itself from Israel. It would be entirely exposed to Israeli violations, enabling Israel to act as it wishes, including establishing military bases wherever it finds strategically advantageous and plundering any resources, whether oil, minerals, or national wealth, from any country without opposition or resistance. Furthermore, it would allow Israel to exploit the human wealth of our Ummah by recruiting whomever it desires and targeting anyone it chooses.

It aims to transform the reality of our Ummah into this: a fragmented region divided into small statelets, with no power to defend itself against the Israelis, left vulnerable to violations by both the Israelis and Americans:

  • This is part of the aggressive Zionist-Jewish project, which targets holy sites, including Al-Quds, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Mecca, and Medina.

Beyond that, it seeks to alter the identity of the Muslim Ummah and reshape Islam in a distorted way that subdues the people of this region for the benefit of the Israelis and Americans, leaving no trace of Islam in their hearts or lives. This is because, in their Zionist project, the Israelis and Americans work to strip the people of this Ummah of their human essence. They do not want them to remain human in the true sense—with a conscience, honour, dignity, and pride. Instead, they seek to turn Arabs into hollow beings who resemble humans outwardly after being stripped of their essence and losing their sense of freedom, honour, dignity, and zeal. They seek to transform Arabs into base, corrupt, misguided people, repeatedly reprogramming them and filling them intellectually and culturally with ideas that make them obedient and submissive to the Americans and Israelis. As a result, they would become obedient to them, aligning themselves with them and following them as submissive, lowly slaves. This is an absolute catastrophe by all measures!

They are working to mislead, corrupt, and pervert the peoples of this Ummah, especially the youth. They want the youth of this Ummah to become morally bankrupt, hollow, degenerate, corrupt, criminal, drug-addicted, and completely lost in every sense of the word. They seek to strip this Ummah of all the values and principles that safeguard it and ensure the preservation of human dignity, pride, and honour.

The Zionist project is disastrous for the Ummah. It is so aggressive and wicked that it can cause the Ummah to lose its religion, its life, its humanity, its Arab identity, and everything else. It is disastrous for the Ummah. This is a real project, not baseless claims against the Israelis or mere propaganda. It is a project that is deeply rooted in their ideology, culture, educational curricula, and strategic plans. It is embedded in their activities and forms the foundation for their conspiracies.

Therefore, the Ummah must take action to confront this brutal, criminal, destructive, and aggressive project and stand in its face with a proper, practical, and serious project. The success of the Zionist project depends on the submission of this Ummah and its acceptance of a project that is catastrophic for it and brings about the wrath of Allah.

If this Ummah accepts being subjected to the Israeli enemy's crimes and brutality, if it accepts usurpation, the plundering of its resources, humiliation, extermination, and all this evil that no human being with a shred of humanity and dignity should accept, then it will not benefit from that: It will only bring upon itself the anger, wrath, punishment, and curse of Allah, as well as Jahannam in the Hereafter. This matter is extremely serious for this Ummah.

The Ummah must take action, and it has all the elements necessary for that. There is absolutely no justification for the Ummah to accept the Zionist Israeli-American project. What reason is there for our Ummah to accept it? Is it to avoid danger? This is the very definition of danger: its acceptance of the Zionist Israeli-American project. This is the greatest threat to its life and religion—to everything. So what is the reason? There is none.

This Ummah possesses all the elements that enable it to confront and thwart this project, and it has the great support of Allah, the Almighty. If it rises to its responsibilities according to Allah's guidance and instructions, it will be victorious and will even fulfil its global role in saving other peoples and societies from the Jewish-Zionist threat, which targets all of humanity. This Ummah has wealth and the geography and human power; it is rich in human potential: It is a large nation with hundreds of millions at the Arab level and with over two billion Muslims worldwide. So what would make this Ummah accept this aggressive project?

As a large nation, this Ummah has all the elements needed to thwart that project and be in a strong position to stop it. It has the geography and human wealth, and it has the guidance and light it needs: the Holy Quran. Indeed, it has the guidance and insights it needs to build its vision, practical plan, and movement based on awareness, correct understanding, sound decisions, and right choices that connect it to Allah with His support and assistance and can benefit it in reality. That is why Allah (the Almighty) says about the Holy Quran, {'Verily, this Quran guides to that which is most just and right'}[Al-Isra 17:9]. Indeed, it guides to the best choices, positions, and orientations that can set the condition of the Ummah right in everything.

Therefore, our movement in this blessed Quranic march is within the framework of our religious responsibility. Our Yemeni people, the Yemen of faith and wisdom—whom the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&F) described by saying, 'The belief is that of the Yemenites, and sagacity is that of the Yemenites'—set forth based on their affiliation to faith and identity of faith, fully aware and mindful of the necessity of this move against that threat, against that criminal, savage enemy who shows no regard for human life.

We, in this Quranic march, and our dear people have taken action based on the guidance of the Holy Quran, with awareness of the right choices to be made:

  • Allah has revealed to us in the Holy Quran the threat posed by our enemies, their intentions, their nature, and their wickedness. He says, {'You will surely find the most bitter towards the believers to be the Jews'}[Al-Ma'idah 5:82]. He says that they {'want you [believers], too, to lose the right path'}[An-Nisa 4:44], and also states, {'Their only desire is to see you suffer'}[Ali 'Imran 3:118]. {'But when they are alone, they bite their fingertips in rage at you'}[Ali 'Imran 3:119]. The Holy Quran contains many verses that expose their malice, enmity, wickedness, criminality, and feelings, providing a complete diagnosis of them and outlining the correct path to confront them. The reality itself is full of evidence that bears witness to what is mentioned about them in the Holy Quran, and it is full of clear truths that confirm what Allah has revealed about them in the Holy Quran.
  • Allah has unveiled the alliance of the forces of evil among the People of the Book, both the Jews and Christians, stating that {'They are Auliya of each other'}[Al-Ma'idah 5:51]. It is now evident that America and Israel are two sides of the same coin, and they both are advancing the Zionist project and believe in it.
  • Allah has strictly forbidden us from aligning oneself with them, to the extent that He says, {'Whoever takes them as Auliya becomes one of them'}[Al-Ma'idah 5:51].
  • He makes it clear that such an act is a rejection of the core principles and values of our religion, as well as the teachings of Allah, the Almighty. In reality, alignment with them comes at the cost of abandoning the most fundamental principles of this religion and forsaking some of its most important values—it comes at the cost of turning away from the teachings of Allah, the Almighty.

At this stage, the Ummah is in need of Allah's help, support, and guidance and has to hold fast to its values and ethics in the face of such a corrupt and misleading enemy that seeks to misguide and corrupt it. The Ummah needs to be fortified against this, as the enemy is a criminal who works as an extension of Satan, striving by all means to strip the Ummah of all elements of strength, primarily the moral element. That is because the enemy aims to undermine our will and drain our essence of humanity and faith to facilitate complete control over us and eventually bring about our destruction.

The Americans and the West have experienced annihilating entire peoples on the American continent. Those peoples did not possess the same principles and values that Muslims have, such principles and values that could have reinforced a liberating and faithful drive and connected them to Allah; thus, they were exterminated. Some statistics suggest that around 100 million people were wiped out by the Europeans on the American continent. They now want to repeat this experience in our countries, but the obstacle in their way is Islam.

It is Islam that has enabled the Palestinian people to maintain such cohesion and steadfastness, and it is what has empowered the people of Gaza to show such patience, steadfastness, and resilience. Therefore, they want to strip us of our human and spiritual essence so that they can easily eliminate us after having reduced us to a weak, lost, and morally corrupt ummah.

The enemy's success in separating the Ummah's practical position from principles, values, and religious ethics is what creates many proxies, turning betrayal, subordination, and collaboration with the Israeli and American enemy into a political perspective and choice. This is due to separating this matter from the faith and religious obligations and from values, ethics, and the humanitarian aspect. It is precisely what the hypocrites among our people desire, as it makes it easier for them to follow such a path.

It is a blessing from Allah that we stand in the right position against such an enemy. This is crucial for our humanity; it allows us to truly remain human and uphold our dignity, values, and morals. It is a blessing from Allah to stand against the Israeli enemy, opposing its crimes, brutality, evil, and tyranny, along with its American ally. This is also crucial for our dignity of faith, our insight, and our wisdom. It is also crucial because it is the correct choice in reality, one that builds the Ummah, protects it, and preserves its honour.

The sacrifices made in this cause are far less than the costs associated with betrayal and surrender. Both surrender and betrayal empower the enemy, allowing it to carry out what is even worse than mere genocide against the Ummah.

Thus, the choice of faith is the right one. It is a choice that reflects trust in Allah; it has a genuine horizon and is guaranteed by Allah. The guarantee we have in this choice is from Allah Himself (the Almighty), and we trust Him and His promise. No matter how extreme the crimes and tyranny of the Israeli enemy might reach, or how immense the American and Western support for it might be, it is destined for demise. This is the inevitable promise of Allah, which is accompanied by the news of their empowerment: When Allah said, {'You will certainly cause corruption in the land twice, and you will surely show utmost haughtiness,'} He also revealed the news of their end and their destruction at the hands of some of His mighty servants. The rise of the Israeli enemy is one that is based on corruption in the land that cannot endure; it is marked by tyranny, oppression, and crime that cannot last. Allah says, {'Then when the time appointed for the final [second] promise would come, they would sadden your faces and enter the Mosque, as they entered it the first time, and they would destroy what they had taken over with [total] destruction'}[Al-Isra 17:7]. And He also says, {'But if you return [to sin], We will return [to punishment]'}[Al-Isra 17:8]. Allah will once again uproot their corruption.

The Israeli enemy is a flawed entity that is both criminal and corrupt, exporting evil and corruption. Its reality, especially during the operation of Al-Aqsa Flood and prior to it, reveals its weakness; it lacks deep-rooted foundations and is constantly haunted by the notion of its own end. Therefore, it relies on aggression, crime, genocide, and evil as the basis for its temporary existence. It knows that its survival is only fleeting, depending on the passivity of the Ummah and Western support. It does not possess the inherent qualities needed for survival; it exists under occupation and plunder, fully aware that it is on foreign soil and in someone else's land. Hence, taking the correct position against it is a blessing and an honour, and we must remain steadfast.

Regarding the American aggression against our country, this is a clear aggression with no justification whatsoever. Sometimes, the Americans refer to their attacks on our country as 'defence'! Defence against what? When have we ever attacked the Americans? It is the Americans who initiated their aggression against us:

They act from a position of aggression with no legitimate basis; their actions are in violation of even American laws and the American Constitution. They also go against humanity and conscience; they are in a state of aggression, supporting the Israeli enemy.

Their aggression against us aims to influence our position and that of our people, which is impossible. No matter how much their aggression escalates, it will never influence or change our position or that of our dear people. It will not break the will of our people or impact our capabilities; rather, it will only contribute, as I have emphasised, to their further development. There are good tidings to come regarding this matter.

Thanks to Allah, by His strength and support, there is a strong resistance against the American aggression, with continuous targeting of its naval forces at sea. They are constantly fleeing to the far north of the Red Sea, and the announcement of another aircraft carrier being deployed only proves their failure and lack of success; they claim their aggression is successful, but in reality, it is not.

Regarding the National Day of Steadfastness, this year, it coincides closely with the occasion of the International Day of Al-Quds, and since they are interrelated—the aggression on our country is tied to its position on Al-Quds and Palestine—it has been decided to hold the public rally on the International Day of Al-Quds to avoid taking to the streets in two days, with a one-day interval between them.

In this regard, the speech made by the President (May Allah protect him) will suffice as he has covered everything necessary on this topic.

The aggression against our country from the very beginning has been American in origin, announced from Washington, and carried out with regional tools, with the aim of serving Israel. Therefore, our advice to those regional powers is not to allow the Americans to entangle them. They should realise that the American agenda is to exploit them; they seek only to empower the Israelis.

In conclusion, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, backing Gaza, and striving for the liberation of all of Palestine and the restoration of sacred sites, especially the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

I call upon our dear people to participate in a million-strong demonstration on the International Day of Al-Quds tomorrow afternoon, Friday, in the capital, Sana'a, and in the other governorates, Allah willing.

This demonstration at this stage, within the framework of our noble people's great position, is part of the jihad for the sake of Allah, the Almighty.

My dear people! This demonstration is one of the greatest ways to draw closer to Allah during the blessed month of fasting. This gathering expresses your loyalty, your steadfastness, and your bravery, and it is frustrating and distressing for our American and Zionist enemies.

I hope, Allah willing, that the turnout will be wide, large, and magnificent, just as we have come to expect from you, those who gather under the banners. You are the Ansar, just like your ancestors who carried the banner of Islam in the face of challenges.

We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah! Have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. You are the Hearer of Prayer!

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
