Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has praised the heroic stance of Microsoft engineer Ibtihal Abu al-Saad after she exposed the giant company for its continued supply of artificial intelligence technologies to the Israeli army.
The movement said in a press statement: "With rare sacrifice and courage, Abu al-Saad shed light on the complicity of major global technology companies with the Zionist killing machine by supplying the criminal enemy army with artificial intelligence tools and technologies that are being used to carry out the crime of genocide against our people in Gaza."
It added, "The genuine position expressed by Abu al-Saad, by refusing to participate in the crimes of these companies and her support for the values of humanity and justice that the cause of our Palestinian people represents, embodies the purity of the human conscience and the strength of moral principles."
Hamas added that "this stance reflects the insistence on taking a stand that exposes the bloody face of these institutions and companies and their role in the criminal genocide against innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip, regardless of the repercussions of these heroic stances."
It called on all employees of institutions that support the occupation and its crimes to emulate this heroic stance of Engineer Abu Al-Saad.
It is worth noting that Abu al-Saad interrupted Microsoft's CEO of Artificial Intelligence, Mustafa Sulaiman, during the company's 50th anniversary celebration, saying, "Microsoft is behind the genocide of 50,000 people killed in Gaza. Shame on you. You are exploiting this war. Stop using artificial intelligence to commit genocide in our region."
