Sana'a - Saba:
The General Authority for Antiquities and Museums announced that museums in the capital city and governorates will be open to visitors free of charge throughout the week, except on Fridays.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Authority called on citizens to visit museums and explore the rich historical and cultural heritage with which our country abounds.
It noted that museums are open all week from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., except on Fridays.
The statement emphasized that visiting museums is an opportunity to connect with Yemen's heritage, its ancient cities, civilizations, and glorious past, pointing out that antiquities and museums are among the most important symbols reflecting human history and culture across the ages.
The statement clarified that the open museums are:
- The National Museum in Sana'a.
- The Folk Heritage Museum in Sana'a.
- The Baynun Museum in Dhamar Governorate.
- The Dhamar Museum in Ibb Governorate.
- The Kant Museum in Amran Governorate.
- The Zabid Museum in Zabid Governorate.
