Officials from the Capital Sana'a Local Council conducted on Sunday inspections of summer activities and courses in al-Tahrir and al-Thawra districts.
In al-Tahrir District, Hamoud al-Naqeeb, Chairman of the Social Affairs Committee, and Abdullatif al-Omari, Deputy Director of the Capital, visited Umm al-Banin School to observe the progress of the summer programs. They were accompanied by Assistant Deputy Directors Abdullah Muharram and Ahsan Qadi, District Director Naji al-Shai'ani, and Educational Zone Director Issam al-Abed.
They were briefed on the religious, scientific, and cultural activities being offered to students of various age groups, and how these activities aim to develop their talents and skills.
Al-Naqeeb emphasized the importance of summer courses in strengthening the faith-based knowledge, values, and morals of Yemeni youth, and protecting them from "soft war" and "false cultures." He praised the efforts of course organizers and the parental engagement in encouraging student participation.
In al-Thawra district, Sharaf al-Hadi, head of the Planning and Development Committee, and Mohammed al-Banous, Deputy for the Education and Youth Sector, also inspected summer activities. They were joined by education officials Ali Margham and Amin Salah, and his deputy Mohammed al-Makhadi.
They received briefings on the activities, student turnout, and the knowledge and skills being imparted to students.
Al-Hadi and al-Banous commended the high student participation and stressed the importance of collaborative efforts to ensure the success of the courses.
They highlighted the courses' role in creating a generation "immune to destructive ideas and soft warfare," and "armed with the Quran," capable of contributing to the nation and countering enemy conspiracies.
