Sana'a - Saba:
First Deputy Prime Minister Allama Mohammed Muftah and Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Saadi inaugurated on Sunday the activities and summer courses in Sana'a province for the year 1446 AH, under the title "Science and Jihad".
At the inauguration at the Imam Zaid Center in the new Sana'a district, Allama Muftah stressed the importance of implementing the courses to provide young people with useful sciences, especially the memorization of the Holy Qur'an , familiarity with its sciences, to protect them from false ideas and soft warfare.
He urged parents to push their children to enroll in summer courses to immunize them from false cultures, false doctrines , destructive invitations, and to use the summer vacation to their advantage.
Minister Al-Saadi pointed out that students need care and attention during the more than three months of vacation, especially in light of this great onslaught in the moral, misleading and soft war aspects.
The first deputy governor, Hamid Asim, explained that the summer sessions are an educational, and awareness-raising station to protect children from soft warfare and misguided cultures, and to fortify them with Qur'anic education and faith-based identity.
