The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) considered on Monday the response and interaction of free peoples, active forces, and global solidarity movements to the global strike a message of strength that must continue and grow in momentum until the Zionist genocide in the Gaza Strip is halted.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Front saluted "the free peoples, active forces, and global solidarity movements that responded and interacted with the global strike for Gaza and stood in solidarity with our people in their just struggle to stop the ongoing criminal Zionist war."
It said that the strike and demonstrations spread across most parts of the world, "a scene that reflects the expansion of global solidarity and the rise of human awareness of the seriousness of the crimes of genocide, siege, and starvation to which the Palestinian people are subjected."
It stressed that this "confirms the isolation of the Zionist entity and exposes its criminal colonial reality, as well as the official American and Western support for the crimes of the occupation."
The statement said, "Despite the importance of this momentum, we emphasize the need to expand, escalate, and sustain this movement, so that it can serve as an effective pressure point against the enemy and its allies until the war of extermination against the Palestinian people is halted."
The statement added, "All legitimate means of pressure are required now, as the suffering of our people in Gaza and the West Bank continues and cannot wait. Ending the aggression and breaking the siege will only be achieved through the resistance, steadfastness, and perseverance of our people, coupled with the escalation of global popular action in all arenas."
