Mey Al-Sayegh, spokesperson for the International Federation of Red Crescent and Red Cross Societies (IFRC), confirmed on Tuesday that Gaza Strip has witnessed events we have never seen before, warning of the great risks medical staff in Gaza Strip face due to direct Zionist targeting.

Al-Sayegh told Al Jazeera: "We have seen scenes we have never seen before in Gaza Strip."

She noted that medical staff are working in harsh and dangerous conditions, explaining that "half of our capacity is disabled in Gaza because of the siege."

"Our paramedics are choosing between the wounded due to the lack of resources," Sayegh added, noting that "our crews and patients are suffering severely due to the lack of food."
