Gaza – Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, affirmed that the statements made by US National Security Council spokesman Brian Hughes, in which he expressed President Trump's and his administration's understanding of the crime of executing Red Crescent and Civil Defense personnel in Rafah, are a hideous example of immoral solidarity with the Nazis of our time, in their brutal war against defenseless civilians and humanitarian organizations.
The movement said in a press statement on Monday that "Hughes' accusations against Hamas of using ambulances are false." These are mere lies devoid of any evidence, propagated by the US administration, alongside the government of war criminal Netanyahu, to justify its heinous and documented crime against paramedics and rescue workers.
It added: "The video clip broadcast by the New York Times confirmed the horror of what the fascist enemy army committed against humanitarian workers protected under international law. This is one of hundreds of crimes committed against paramedics, civil defense crews, UN employees, and all civilian institutions over the months of aggression."
It concluded: "The US administration must stop its open support for the targeting of humanitarian work and the killing and burning of children and civilians, and compel the Zionist terrorist government to cease its violations of laws and norms, instead of continuing to provide war criminals with criminal cover to continue committing crimes against humanity."
The Israeli occupation resumed its aggression and tightened siege of the Gaza Strip at dawn on March 18, 2025, after a two-month pause under a ceasefire agreement that went into effect on January 19. The occupation has violated the ceasefire terms for the past two months.
With American and European support, the enemy has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 2023, leaving more than 166,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 14,000 missing.
