The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Monday that the "West" group of forces liberated the town of Katerinovka in Donetsk, while enemy losses in the group's area of responsibility amounted to approximately 215 soldiers over the past 24 hours.
The Russian Defense Ministry revealed in its daily report that the total daily losses of the Ukrainian army on various fronts reached approximately 1,250 soldiers. The following are highlights from the Russian Defense Ministry's report:
On the Belgorod front, formations of the Northern Group of Forces struck enemy forces in several population centers in Sumy Oblast, where the enemy lost approximately 85 soldiers.
Formations of the Southern Group of Forces improved their tactical position in Donetsk, where Ukrainian army losses reached approximately 300 soldiers.
Formations of the Center Group of Forces seized more favorable positions in Donetsk, where Ukrainian losses amounted to approximately 440 soldiers.
Formations of the Eastern Group of Forces continued to advance deep into the enemy defenses in Donetsk, inflicting losses on the Ukrainian army estimated at approximately 140 soldiers.
Formations of the Dnieper Group of Forces improved their tactical position and inflicted losses on enemy forces and equipment in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Oblasts, where the enemy lost approximately 70 soldiers.
Drone control centers, artillery and rocket depots, and concentrations of Ukrainian army forces and equipment were hit in 137 locations.
Three missiles were shot down. US-made HIMARS missiles and 95 drones.
