Ramallah - Saba:
West Bank cities witnessed marches on Monday, denouncing the genocide committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip for more than a year and a half.
Quds Press reported that the march began in the city of Ramallah, in the central West Bank, and passed through several streets, where Palestinian flags were raised. Participants chanted slogans condemning the Israeli war on Gaza.
The participants emphasized the need for concerted efforts to stop the war of extermination and massacres committed by the enemy against the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip. They called on the international community to fulfill its obligations and commitments to implement international legitimacy resolutions and international law, and to hold the enemy state accountable for its crimes.
In Nablus, in the north, hundreds participated in a protest against the war of extermination in Gaza in the city center. The protest was called for by the national action factions. They denounced the continued aggression and massacres committed by the enemy against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
In his speech, Nasr Abu Jaish, spokesman for the Factions Coordination Committee, emphasized that the massacres taking place in Gaza and the West Bank, the targeting of medical and journalistic personnel, and the demolition of homes with their residents inside, require a serious and unified stance in all arenas. He added that this strike is an expression of outcry and protest against the enemy's crimes.
He added, "After all the daily massacres that have taken place and are taking place in Gaza, the Palestinian people are being forced to leave, as happened in the Jenin and Tulkarm camps. But we are a people who are steadfast against the enemy government's schemes."
He continued, "We must unite and close ranks under the leadership of the PLO, cling to the dreams of the martyrs, and we will remain steadfast in the face of this enemy's arrogance."
Abu Jaish affirmed that our people stand with the detainees in the enemy's prisons, as they suffer from a policy of abuse and systematic targeting of their lives.
Yesterday, Sunday, the Palestinian factions called for a general strike in the cities and camps of the West Bank, and in refugee camps and the diaspora. In rejection of the Zionist war of extermination on Gaza and in support of the resistance,
The factions called for "the success of the global strike to raise the voice and shed light on the enemy's crimes," stating that the strike comes "in rejection of the war of extermination on the Gaza Strip, with the participation of solidarity activists and free people of the world."
At dawn on March 18, 2025, the Zionist enemy resumed its aggression and tightened siege on the Gaza Strip, following a two-month pause under a ceasefire agreement that went into effect on January 19. However, the enemy has repeatedly violated the terms of the ceasefire throughout the past two months.
