The Government Media Office in Gaza categorically rejected on Tuesday the mechanism proposed by the Israeli enemy regarding the control and distribution of aid, considering it a "blatant attempt to give false legitimacy to its illegal occupation and evade its responsibilities as an occupying power."
In a press release, it held "the Israeli enemy fully responsible for any humanitarian setback or health or food disaster that may result from the obstruction of the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip," calling on "the international community, the United Nations, and all international humanitarian organizations, human rights, and legal institutions to urgently intervene and reject this dangerous mechanism."
It also called on Arab and Islamic countries, and all countries of the world, to express their absolute rejection of the dangerous proposals put forward by the Israeli enemy, emphasizing that they represent a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the rules of conduct followed in humanitarian work over the past decades.
He called on donor countries not to channel their aid through the dangerous and unacceptable mechanism proposed by the Zionist enemy, and to commit to providing it through reliable humanitarian channels, primarily the United Nations, as it is a neutral and independent body with a long history of working in the Gaza Strip in accordance with international standards.
