UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese called on Tuesday for an end to dealings with Israel because it practices apartheid and commits war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Albanese described what has been happening in Gaza since Israel violated the ceasefire as genocide.

Mediapart, which interviewed Francesca Albanese on April 5th on the occasion of the Palestine Conference organized by the French NGO Platform, reported that Israel has resumed its war with increasing intensity on the Gaza Strip, continuing its bombing day and night and issuing forced displacement orders.

On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip recorded 1,449 martyrs and 3,647 injuries since March 17th, bringing the number of martyrs directly linked to the war to 50,810 since October 7th, 2023.
