MPs from the left-wing opposition party "France Insoumise" held up banners on Tuesday, during a session of the French National Assembly (parliament).
Aymeric Caron, a member of the party, said in a parliamentary session on Tuesday that Gaza is turning into a Nazi concentration camp.
He pointed out that the level of brutality displayed by the Israeli army has reached such a point that "we are forced to use approximate figures for the number of deaths in this ongoing genocide."
He pointed out that approximately 20,000 Palestinian children have been martyred in Israeli enemy attacks, stressing that modern history has never witnessed such a large number of children being killed in such a "sadistic manner."
He added that Palestinian children are being burned, crushed, torn apart, beheaded, shot in the head, amputated without anesthesia, and imprisoned.
Caron accused French MPs and officials who visited Israel and expressed support for the Tel Aviv government of "complicity in the crime" against civilians in Gaza.
During his speech, Caron displayed a photo of the child, Bisan al-Hindi, who was martyred in an Israeli airstrike while she was sleeping last March.
He said, "Look at this face. Look at all these faces around me. These are the faces of our bad conscience."
A number of MPs from his party joined Caron in displaying photos of children killed by the Zionist war on the Gaza Strip.
On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip recorded 1,449 martyrs and 3,647 injuries since March 17, bringing the number of martyrs directly linked to the war to 50,810 since the Zionist enemy began its war on the Strip on October 7, 2023.
