Nablus – Saba:

Nablus Battalion of al-Quds Brigades announced on Wednesday evening that it had detonated a pre-prepared explosive device in an Israeli army vehicle in Balata camp.

The Palestine Today news agency quoted the battalion's statement as saying: "We, along with our brothers, detonated a pre-prepared explosive device in an Israeli army vehicle in the schools axis in Balata camp."

The battalion confirmed that it continues to confront the incursion of enemy forces on several fronts, depending on the requirements and circumstances on the ground.

Earlier Wednesday, the Israeli army announced the launch of a large-scale "military operation" in the city of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.
