Occupied al-Quds- Saba:
The Zionist enemy forces on Friday escalated their aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its two camps in the occupied West Bank.
The enemy forces carried out a campaign of raids on residential buildings, forcibly evicting residents, and arresting two Palestinian youths. They also continued to bulldoze and destroy public and private property and infrastructure.
The Palestinian News Agency, citing eyewitnesses and local sources, reported that the enemy enemy forces dispatched military reinforcements to Nablus Street after Friday prayers and raided a number of residential buildings around al-Firdaws Mosque and the traffic circle in the northern neighborhood. They forced residents to evacuate, giving them between five minutes and an hour to leave.
The sources explained that among these buildings were buildings previously seized by enemy forces, containing dozens of apartments housing dozens of families, including displaced persons from the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps. The Zionist enemy also forced the owners of several shops in the area to close and forcibly evacuate their premises.
Since the beginning of the occupation's aggression against the city and its two camps, which has continued for 75 days, Nablus Street has witnessed attacks by the Zionist enemy, which has destroyed the infrastructure, especially at the entrances to the camps.
It has also closed sections of the street with earth mounds in both directions, and deployed heavy machinery and bulldozers along its length, obstructing vehicle traffic and making it difficult for citizens and shop owners to reach their homes and shops.
Palestinian citizens have frequently been subjected to abuse and beatings by enemy soldiers. The occupation has also seized residential buildings and converted them into military barracks, which remain in place to this day.
In the same context, an Israeli enemy bulldozer began demolishing commercial stores in Tulkarm camp on Friday, causing additional destruction to public and private property and infrastructure.
Israeli enemy forces arrested Yaqeen Adnan Alian during a raid on homes in al-Mahjar neighborhood in Nur Shams camp, while bulldozers carried out demolition and vandalism operations around the cemetery in the camp.
In another escalation, Israeli enemy bulldozers demolished an ancient building west of Tulkarm this morning. The building, which dates back to the former Hijaz Railway Station, was located near the "Gishuri" settlement chemical factories, forcibly built on Islamic Waqf lands west of the city.
At the southern entrance to Tulkarm, Israeli enemy forces set up a military checkpoint at Jabara Bridge gate, where they stopped and thoroughly searched vehicles, causing a severe traffic jam and dozens of vehicles queuing in both directions.
Local sources reported that Israeli enemy forces arrested a Palestinian youth from Nour Shams camp as he was passing through the checkpoint.
