Gaza - Saba:
A second soldier in the Zionist enemy army was moderately wounded on Friday by Palestinian resistance fighters in battles in the southern Gaza Strip.
A brief statement issued by the Zionist enemy army said: "Earlier today, an armed cell opened fire on forces in the southern Gaza Strip, where an officer was moderately wounded and was hospitalized."
Earlier on Friday, the Zionist enemy army announced that a soldier from the Golani Brigade was "seriously wounded" in the southern Gaza Strip.
The battles come at a time when the enemy army is trying to annex the Rafah area, which constitutes one-fifth of Gaza's territory, to a buffer zone it is preparing to establish in the southern Gaza Strip and prohibit Palestinians from reaching it.
