London - Saba:
Internal unrest at Microsoft has increased due to Israel's extensive use of artificial intelligence and cloud computing services in its war on Gaza Strip.
The British newspaper "The Guardian" indicated today, Friday, that Microsoft employees boycotted for the second time in the past month senior executives who were speaking at an event to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary on April 4, to protest the company's role in the ongoing "Israeli" siege on Gaza.
According to the newspaper, the April event was preceded by a rally outside, which also included current and former employees of the tech giant.
The protesters hung a banner on the wall of the auditorium that read: "Microsoft Enables Genocide," referring to Israel's extensive use of the company's AI and cloud computing services since October 7, 2023, as "the Israeli military's growing demand for bombs has been offset by its need for greater access to cloud computing services."
