Sheikh Naim Qassem: "Disarmament of resistance will not happen & who think we are weak are delusional"

Beirut - Saba:
The Secretary General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naim Qassem, emphasized that disarming the resistance will not happen, and the resistance will remain as long as the occupation remains, explaining that disarming the resistance is a service to the Israeli enemy and a sedition that will not happen, pointing out that the party will announce options at the time it decides.

He also emphasized that "the ceasefire agreement is the result of the steadfastness of the resistance, and without this steadfastness, the agreement would not have been reached and "Israel" would have continued its aggression."

In a televised speech broadcast on Friday by Al-Manar TV, he said "Israel's talk about disarming the resistance is aimed at weakening Lebanon and occupying it as part of its expansionist project."

"We will confront those who attack the resistance and those who work to disarm it, just as we confronted Israel," he added. "Those who think we are weak are delusional," he added.

"The first issue in Lebanon is not the weapons of the resistance, but the expulsion of the Israeli occupation."

"The resistance is a reaction to the occupation and in the event that the Lebanese state is unable to protect its territory and citizens," he said, adding that "Israel is expansionist and is not satisfied with occupied Palestine but wants to take Lebanon as well."

He added: "There is no longer a pretext for Israel after the agreement, yet it is attacking daily to the point that its aggression has reached 2,700 attacks," he said: "Israel wants to occupy most of Lebanon to annex it to occupied Palestine."

He added: "We are wisely patient because we know that there is a balance in losses and gains, but we do not build on that, but on the position and position of resistance," he said, pointing out that "the first issue in Lebanon is not the weapons of the resistance, but the expulsion of the Israeli occupation."

"After Israel fulfills its obligations, Lebanon will start discussing the other clauses of 1701," he said.
