The Iranian Foreign Ministry emphasized on Friday that the Zionist enemy leads the record of killing children in the world.
Tasnim International News Agency reported that Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei published in a post on the "X" platform a picture of a report that he said, this report is not medieval, nor from the dark ages; rather, this catastrophe is repeated daily, for about two years, in the heart of the 21st century.
Baghaei, a spokesperson for the Children's Fund, said: "Since the beginning of Gaza war, an average of 27 children have been killed every day."
He emphasized that this happens despite the fact that: The United Nations General Assembly has repeatedly condemned the enemy's crimes; the International Criminal Court (ICC) has deemed the Zionist enemy's crimes against Palestinians as genocide and the International Court of Justice. (ICJ) has issued arrest warrants against the leaders of this entity; yet, the killing continues...
Every day, he said, more children fall victim either under the bombing of enemy planes on Gaza, or due to the deliberate starvation policy imposed by the Zionist entity on civilians.
These acts, according to international law, constitute war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide. The Zionist entity, and those who collude with it or justify its crimes, must be held accountable.
