Tulkarm - Saba:
Israeli enemy forces continue their aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 85th consecutive day, and for the 72nd day against the Nour Shams camp, amid an ongoing escalation in the field, including raids, incursions, vandalism, and attacks on Palestinian civilians and their property.
The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that Israeli forces deployed throughout the city's streets this morning, stationed on Al-Haddadin Street, setting up a flying checkpoint, preventing vehicles from passing in both directions, and preventing shopkeepers from standing outside their shops at gunpoint. They combed and searched the area, but no arrests were reported.
After midnight last night, Israeli forces deployed infantry squads throughout the city's streets and neighborhoods, stationed in the southern neighborhood, raiding the Al-Shannar Café and interrogating and abusing the Palestinian youths inside before arresting a young Palestinian man.
Another force was also present in the western neighborhood, combing and searching everything in sight. They arrested another young Palestinian man from his home near the Hilmi Hanoun School in the area.
Tulkarm city is witnessing a daily escalation in raids and arrests, as part of the ongoing assault on the city, its camps, and its suburbs. This includes the deployment of foot and mobile vehicles in the city's main neighborhoods, the pursuit of young men, assaulting them, arresting them, and detaining them for long hours after confiscating their ID cards and mobile phones.
In this context, a massive explosion occurred last night in the Manshiyya neighborhood of the Nour Shams camp, east of the city. A house caught fire following the explosion, followed by thick plumes of smoke. Meanwhile, the camp remains under a tight siege, with streets being bulldozed, homes raided, and residents forcibly displaced. The latest incident involved the forced evacuation of several families from their homes east of the Dhnaba suburb, specifically those near Jabal al-Nasr in the camp, yesterday.
Meanwhile, Tulkarm camp is witnessing a heavy presence of Israeli occupation forces, who continue to bulldoze, vandalize, and destroy the demolished streets and civilian property. They have closed off entrances with earth mounds and barbed wire, while the camp has become empty of its residents after forcibly displacing them from their homes and converting them into military barracks.
The Israeli enemy continues to seize homes and residential buildings on Nablus Street and the adjacent northern neighborhood, converting them into military barracks after forcibly evacuating their residents. Israeli forces have positioned their vehicles and bulldozers in the vicinity.
The ongoing Israeli aggression and escalation against Tulkarm city and its two camps has resulted in the deaths of 13 Palestinian citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens have also been injured and arrested.
It also resulted in the forced displacement of more than 4,000 families from the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, along with hundreds of citizens from the northern neighborhood of the city after their homes were seized and a number of them converted into military barracks.
The aggression caused extensive destruction to infrastructure, including homes, shops, and vehicles, which were completely and partially demolished, burned, vandalized, looted, and stolen. 396 homes were completely destroyed and 2,573 partially destroyed in the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, in addition to blocking their entrances and alleys with earth mounds.
