Moscow - Saba:
In response to the Russian advance, Ukraine has deployed the "Birds of Hungary" to the border with Kursk
A source in the Russian Army's Northern Group of Forces announced that Ukrainian forces have deployed more than 300 drone crews near the Russian border to support their efforts to hold onto their positions in Kursk Oblast.
RT quoted the source as saying, "Among the aforementioned crews is the notorious "Birds of Hungary" drone squadron... Up to 300 drone crews were detected in this direction. This was confirmed by analyzing all Ukrainian drone launches in the area at the start of the assault on the village of Goiv."
Earlier on Tuesday, a source in the Northern Group reported that Russian forces had liberated the Gornal Monastery for men, located near the border in Kursk Oblast. We have witnessed increased drone activity in this direction again, in an attempt by the enemy to retain Gornal itself, the monastery, and Goiv. To achieve this goal, crews from the Hungarian Birds Company were deployed, which, as everyone knows, performs very well in aerial reconnaissance, fire strikes, and airstrikes. The enemy is trying to compensate for the failure of the infantry by making extensive use of drones".
Last March, Russian army units launched a large-scale offensive in Kursk Oblast, liberating the city of Sudzha and several other population centers, including Givo and Oleshnia.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 75,000 people during military operations on the Kursk Oblast.
