Abdulwase’ Al-Shamsi, Deputy Governor of Taiz for Development Affairs, inspected on Wednesday the activities of the summer courses at Al-Samad Model Summer School in Jabal Habashi district.
Accompanied by Taiz’s Agriculture Sector Official, Engineer Abdullah Al-Jundi, Jabal Habashi District Director Mohammed Al-Mansoub, Executive Director of the Agricultural Cooperative Union Branch Amer Al-Ahdal, and Deputy Director of the Social Affairs Office Qaid Al-Nahl, Al-Shamsi reviewed the level of student enrollment in the summer courses at Al-Samad Center.
Deputy Al-Shamsi praised the efforts made to ensure the success of the summer courses, emphasizing their role in immunizing youth against misguided ideologies and equipping them with the Holy Qur'an, faith-based identity, and skills development.
In the same context, Al-Shamsi, Al-Jundi, Al-Mansoub, Al-Ahdal, and Al-Nahl visited farms in Wadi Makair, located in the Balad Al-Wafi area of Jabal Habashi District, which cultivate mango trees and various other fruits.
They listened to several farmers explain their needs, including intensified pest control measures, preventive actions, and irrigation networks for agricultural lands.
Deputy Al-Shamsi affirmed that the cooperative association would address the farmers' challenges and implement several economic empowerment projects through the association.
