Gaza – SABA
The United Nations has confirmed that 18 months of ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing, coupled with a complete siege and blockade of aid for two months, have devastated the lives of 2.2 million Palestinians in Gaza, leaving critical infrastructure nearly obliterated and civilians struggling for survival.
The UN highlighted that Israel’s total siege—preventing food, fuel, and medical aid—has pushed Gaza to the brink of famine and systemic collapse.
The World Food Programme (WFP) delivered its
Last remaining food stocks to community kitchens today, but supplies are expected to run out within days.
These kitchens, serving only half the population and meeting just 25% of daily caloric needs, were a lifeline. Their imminent closure risks mass starvation.
Earlier, the World Food Programme warned that the situation inside the Gaza Strip had once again reached a breaking point. "Avenues for coping are running out, and the fragile gains achieved during the brief ceasefire have been eroded. Unless urgent action is taken to open the crossings for aid and trade, WFP may be forced to end its vital assistance."
