Sana'a - (Saba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast hot weather in the deserts and coastal plains, with scattered rain showers in several governorates over the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin that hot weather is expected in the deserts and coastal plains, with maximum temperatures ranging from 36 to 40 degrees Celsius, and from 33 to 36 degrees Celsius in the western and southern coastal governorates.
According to the center, scattered rain is likely in the governorates of Dhamar, Ibb, Raymah, and the western parts of the governorates of Sana'a, Amran, Al Mahwit, Hajjah, and Saada, as well as the northern regions of Taiz and parts of the Socotra Archipelago.
It indicated the possibility of moderate to strong winds, with maximum speeds reaching 28 knots, in the southern Red Sea, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and the Gulf of Aden, leading to high waves and rough seas.
The center warned citizens in deserts, plains, and coastal areas of the hot weather, advising them to avoid direct sun exposure during the afternoon and to drink plenty of fluids. It also warned against venturing into valleys and floodplains, and warned of rough seas and high waves along the western coasts, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and the Gulf of Aden.
