Occupied Quds - Saba:
The Israeli army has threatened to expand the scope of fighting if no progress is made in the negotiations within two weeks, threatening a large mobilization of Israeli reserve forces, according to a senior Israeli source quoted in the newspaper Israel Hayom on Sunday.
The Israeli army claimed in a statement on Saturday evening that over the past 48 hours, 400 resistance fighters were eliminated and 120 additional targets were bombed in the Gaza Strip, including a large weapons depot in the Daraj al-Tuffah neighborhood.
The statement continued, "We are preparing for larger-scale maneuvers, and even a new mobilization of reserve forces." These plans include strengthening troop posture, expanding ground maneuvers, and intensifying strikes. A decision on additional mobilization of reserve forces is also likely to be made soon.
The statement emphasized that "approximately 1,800 targets in Gaza have been struck since the start of the operation, including 120 targets in the past 24 hours."
