The Executive Director General of the Yemen Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control, Sam Al-Bashiri, inspected the progress of work at the organization's branch in Dhamar Governorate, where he reviewed the control and inspection procedures to enhance consumer protection.
Al-Bashiri stressed the importance of adhering to standard specifications and expediting procedures through the single-window system and the "Tas'heel" electronic service.
He also visited the Dhamar Control Center and reviewed the work mechanism to ensure the quality of goods and stimulate investment, emphasizing the need to facilitate the passage of conforming goods and protect consumer health.
He listened to the difficulties facing the work and discussed ways to address them, appreciating the efforts of the staff and the developments taking place within the organization.
