Taiz - Saba:
Taiz province undersecretary Taha Hammam, along with Director of the Economy, Industry, and Investment Office, Afif al-Dhabhani, and Director of Sala District, Muhammad Mohsen, on Tuesday inspected summer course activities at the Martyr Zaid Ali Musleh and al-Zahraa Schools in the district.
Separately, Ali al-Saruri, head of the Scholars and Learners Unit in the province, and other scholars inspected summer courses at the Sultan, Al-Safa, Al-Fath, and Al-Khair Schools in al-Taezeyah district.
During the visits, those overseeing the summer schools briefed the officials on the various sports, recreational, and educational programs being offered and the level of student engagement.
The visiting officials emphasized the crucial role of summer activities in facilitating the memorization and recitation of the Holy Quran and in safeguarding children and youth from false beliefs.
They stressed the importance of teaching young people the Holy Quran and the Prophet's traditions, as well as educating them about the dangers of extremist ideas.
They also highlighted the need to provide instruction in Arabic and other languages, alongside sports and cultural activities, and to organize educational trips to showcase Yemen's tourist, historical, and natural attractions.
The officials commended the efforts of teachers and parents in contributing to the success of these summer courses.
