Hajjah - Saba:
The Local Corporation for Water and Sanitation, branches of the Electricity Corporation, and the Rural Water Projects and Water Resources authorities in Hajjah province organized an event on Tuesday commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
During the event, Hajjah Governorate Deputy Mohammed Al-Qadi emphasized the importance of drawing lessons from the tragic events of Karbala and understanding the significance of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in faith, conduct, and action.
He noted that Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) represents a school of sacrifice, courage, and redemption, and it is essential to learn about his personality, life, stances, oppression, and revolution against tyrants and oppressors. He highlighted Imam Hussein’s dedication to guiding the nation back to the righteous path.
In the presence of directors from the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation, Engineer Amin Al-Maghlas, Rural Water Projects Director Saleh Al-Falahi, Water Resources Director Ismail Al-Mahdi, and Central District Director Issam Al-Wazan, the deputy governor addressed the historic phase Yemenis are undergoing in supporting Al-Aqsa, backing the resistance , mujahideen in Gaza, honoring the blood of martyred women and children.
The event, attended by Deputy Directors of Hajjah Electricity Khaled Hameed and Water Corporation Ibrahim Hammoud, featured a speech by Technical Director Engineer Mohammed Abdulwadood, who elaborated on Imam Hussein’s esteemed status in the heart of his grandfather, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). He highlighted how Imam Hussein was raised with faith, honesty, justice, and a love for martyrdom in the cause of upholding God’s word.
He pointed out that Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) stood against tyrants when he saw deviation, refusing to pledge allegiance to corrupt leadership that contradicted Islamic principles.
The grandson of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) set a revolutionary example by rejecting allegiance to symbols of corruption, inspiring generations to correct errors and deviations that emerged over time.
The Hussaini stances, he noted, have fostered heroic and jihadist positions in support of truth and justice, confronting falsehood across Yemen, the Arabian Peninsula, the Arab world, and globally. This includes the honorable stance of the descendants of the Ansar against the forces of global evil—America and Israel—in solidarity with their brethren in Gaza.
For his part, cultural figure Bashir Al-Madoumi stated that the Master of the Youth of Paradise is a symbol and beacon in the revolution against tyrants and oppressors, embodying resilience, sacrifice, and redemption—a model for the nation, free people, and successive generations.
He explained that Imam Hussein’s revolution and defiance against oppression legitimized sacrifice for the sake of God’s word and the banner of Islam, marking a historic turning point that demonstrated silence in the face of injustice as submission and surrender.
