Sa’ada - Saba:

The Education Sector in Saada Governorate and Al-Saeed Educational Complex organized a cultural event to commemorate Ashura, the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

Sector official Mohammed Al-Dawla emphasized that Ashura is not just a historical memory, but a renewed school that inspires free people to confront tyranny. He pointed to the similarities between the nation’s abandonment of Hussein in Karbala and its abandonment of Gaza today as it faces aggression.

He considered that those who supported Hussein in Karbala are no different from those who support Gaza today in “the Karbala of the era.” The event witnessed speeches, chants, and poetry that expressed the Yemeni people’s connection to Hussein’s approach and his revolution against injustice.
