Ramallah - Saba:
The Zionist enemy’s court in "Ofer" prison has extended the detention of Palestinian journalist Nasser al-Laham until next Sunday, under the pretext of completing the investigation.
It is worth noting that the enemy forces arrested journalist al-Laham on July 7 from his house.
The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority stated that the enemy continues to escalate its campaign against journalists, targeting them at an unprecedented rate since the start of the ongoing genocide. The number of journalists arrested or detained since the genocide began has reached 193, with 50 still held in detention, including al-Laham.
The authority noted that most of them face charges related to what the enemy claims as "incitement" on social media and in the media, while others are held under administrative detention under the pretext of a "secret file."
It also pointed out that the enemy classifies Gaza journalists as so-called "unlawful combatants," with two of them subjected to enforced disappearance since the start of the genocide.
