Jenin - Saba:
The Media Committee in Tulkarm stated on Thursday that the Zionist enemy army continues its aggression on Tulkarm province and its camp for the 165th consecutive day, and on Nur Shams camp for the 152nd day, amid escalating demolition operations, brutalizing civilians, and turning houses into military barracks.
In a statement, the committee confirmed that the enemy forces launched a widespread invasion campaign targeting several towns and areas in the governorate, most notably the Shweika suburb and the town of Atil north of Tulkarm. They raided citizens' houses, vandalized their contents, including the house of freed prisoner Imad Abdo, which was completely destroyed.
Additionally, the enemy forces arrested Sheikh Kassab Zaqout after storming his house in the eastern neighborhood of the city.
In Nur Shams camp, the enemy forces burned down a civilian’s house in the Al-Manshiya neighborhood, while widespread destruction was observed from repeated invasions over the past weeks across the camp.
Displaced people from Nur Shams and Tulkarm camps organized a protest at Jamal Abdel Nasser roundabout in the city center, rejecting the ongoing policies of demolition and displacement, amid calls for urgent international intervention to stop Israeli violations against civilians.
According to available data, the aggression has so far resulted in the martyrdom of 13 citizens, including a child and two women—one of whom was eight months pregnant—along with dozens of injuries and arrests, and massive destruction of infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles.
The Media Committee also reported that the continuous escalation has displaced over 5,000 families from the two camps—amounting to more than 25,000 citizens—with 400 houses completely destroyed and 2,573 partially damaged, while entrances to the camps remain blocked with barriers, turning them into near-deserted areas.
