Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades broadcast footage on Thursday of an operation carried out by its fighters in which an Israeli soldier was killed while destroying Palestinian homes east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

The footage of the operation, part of a series of "Stones of David" operations carried out by the Palestinian resistance, shows al-Qassam fighters raiding a gathering of Israeli soldiers and vehicles, targeting two Israeli vehicles and two military vehicles, and attempting to capture one of the soldiers while he was destroying Palestinian homes in Abasan al-Kabira area east of Khan Yunis. He was killed by the fighters.

This comes in the context of the Palestinian resistance factions' response to the genocide perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against the people of the Gaza Strip, with American support, since October 7, 2023. This crime includes killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, in defiance of international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.
