The Local Council and Mobilization in Al-Sawadiyah District, Al-Bayda Province, organized a speech event on Monday commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Zaid (AS).
During the event, the Governorate Deputy, Ali Sheikh, highlighted the stances of Imam Zaid (AS), his uprising against tyrants, and his struggle against injustice.
He emphasized the importance of reviving this occasion to draw lessons and insights from the historical positions of Imam Zaid (AS), as recorded in undistorted Islamic history.
Deputy Sheikh stressed the need to follow the path of Imam Zaid (AS) in confronting global arrogance led by "America, Israel, and Britain."
The event, attended by Al-Sawadiyah District Director Yasser Al-Sawadi, featured speeches underscoring the importance of uniting efforts to counter the American-Zionist projects targeting nations opposed to their presence in the region and committed to the choice of resistance.
The martyrdom anniversary of Imam Zaid (AS) was described as a milestone in jihad, urging adherence to his path and that of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) in standing firm for truth and resisting tyranny.
