Engineer Saleh Al-Muntasir, Deputy Governor of Sana’a for Technical Affairs, conducted an inspection visit today to review the progress of asphalt maintenance work on the Hilana–Wadi Al-Ajbar–Shahek Road, which is being carried out by the Executive Unit under the supervision of the Public Works Sector in the governorate.
During the visit, Al-Muntasir, accompanied by the Governor’s Office Director Saddam Al-Fasih, was briefed by Engineer Mohammed Oshiya, Director of the Public Works Office in the governorate, and Engineer Adel Al-Sayyani, Director of the Southern and Eastern Sector in the Executive Unit, on the ongoing maintenance activities. These include repairing cracks and potholes and addressing asphalt surface issues, funded by the local authority.
It was noted that the project covers a total area of 2,500 square meters, with a total cost of 41 million Yemeni rials.
Al-Muntasir and Al-Fasih commended the efforts made in maintaining this vital public road, describing it as a main artery for Sana’a Governorate that serves several districts.
They emphasized the importance of the maintenance work in preserving road infrastructure and urged the teams to accelerate efforts to complete the project in line with required standards, quality, and within the scheduled timeframe.
