Hodeida - Saba:
Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority in Hodeida province on Tuesday launched a two-day free medical camp for mental and neurological illnesses, as part of its efforts to provide free healthcare services to the most vulnerable groups.
The camp offers diagnosis, consultations, and free medication to patients with mental and neurological conditions, along with support from clinical nutrition and pharmacy teams.
Hospital Director Dr. Khaled Suhail stated that 154 patients from various age groups were treated on the first day, receiving medical examinations, psychological counseling, and nutritional advice.
Suhail emphasized the urgent community need for such specialized camps, especially in Hodeida, where mental health services are limited.
Dr. Suhail stressed the hospital's commitment to organizing similar camps regularly to increase access to healthcare.
He highlighted the camp’s comprehensive nature—covering examination, treatment, and psychological support—as a key factor in its effectiveness and social value.
Dr. Suhail also praised the dedication and professionalism of the participating medical teams in delivering services with care and compassion.
