Ramallah - Saba:
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed on Tuesday that international inaction in confronting the crimes of genocide, forced displacement, and annexation committed by the Israeli enemy authorities against the Palestinian people provides silent cover for these violations and encourages their continuation and escalation.
The statement pointed to the worsening catastrophic conditions in the Gaza Strip and the settler terrorism to which Palestinians are subjected, especially in the towns of Beitin and Masafer Yatta.
The ministry stressed in a statement carried by the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) on Tuesday that the responsibility of the international community does not stop at characterizing crimes and violations, but rather requires taking immediate and binding measures to compel the occupation to halt its aggression and comply with international law, including the protection of Palestinian civilians and ensuring their access to their political and human rights.
The ministry called for deterrent international action that translates repeated positions and condemnations into concrete measures to halt the genocide and annexation operations, warning that the international community's failure to fulfill its responsibilities opens the door to the spread of "law "The jungle" at the expense of international legitimacy.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry concluded its statement by emphasizing that the world's silence cannot be considered neutrality, but rather indirect participation in the ongoing suffering and humanitarian catastrophe facing the Palestinian people.
