Sana'a – Saba:
The Water and Environment Committee of the House of Representatives held a joint meeting on Saturday with the government side, chaired by the committee's head, Hassan Suwaid.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water, Dr. Ali Saif, his deputy Adel Baader, and several undersecretaries and specialists from the ministry and its affiliated institutions. Discussions focused on the implementation level of the government's Change and Building Program concerning the committee, as well as the policies and activities of the ministry.
During the meeting, the committee agreed to provide written responses regarding the topics discussed.
In the same parliamentary context, the Defense and Security Committee held a meeting chaired by its head, Major General Mohammed Al-Hawri, with the attendance of the government side represented by Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdulmajeed Al-Murtada and several specialists from the ministry.
Discussions centered on following up on the implementation of the parliament’s recommendations related to the Ministry of Interior within the government’s program.
The committee affirmed its continued follow-up on the progress of implementing these recommendations and requested to be updated on the ministry’s achievements regarding its commitments under the government’s program and the parliament’s recommendations.
