Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered and variable rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in parts of several governorates, and rough seas due to strong winds over the next 24 hours.
According to the center's weather bulletin, varying intensity rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail, is expected in parts of the governorates of Ibb, Taiz, Dhamar, Dhale'a, Lahj, Raymah, Hajjah, Mahwit, and Amran.
Scattered rainfall, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms, is likely in parts of the Sa'dah highlands, Sana'a, Abyan, Shabwah, Bayda, Hadhramaut, and the Tihama plain.
Strong to very strong winds are expected around the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts.
The amount of rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Hajjah over the past 24 hours was 25 mm, Mahwit 5.1 mm, Taiz 1.4 mm, Amran 1.2 mm, and Ibb 1 mm.
The center warned citizens of thunderstorms and of staying in or crossing floodwaters during and after rainfall.
It also warned drivers on mountain roads of mudslides and rockfalls and of reduced visibility due to rainfall and fog.
The center also warned seagoers, fishermen, and ship captains of rough seas and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, in the Gulf of Aden, and along the eastern and southern coasts.
