The Parliament on Sunday continued its current session under the chairmanship of Speaker Yahya al-Ra'i.
During the session, the Parliament reviewed a brief report on its activities during the first period of the second round of the 20th annual session.
Members continued discussions on several important issues, urging the permanent parliamentary committees to expedite completing their assigned tasks, particularly monitoring the Government of Change and Construction’s implementation of the Council’s recommendations and evaluating the progress of the government’s general program.
The Parliament approved suspending its sessions until the permanent committees finish assessing the government agencies’ performance regarding the government’s program and the Council’s recommendations, and submit their reports for parliamentary discussion.
The session began with reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
