Washington-Saba: Goldman Sachs analysts confirmed that eight OPEC+ countries, which have voluntary oil production restrictions, will not increase their production ceiling again after next September.
Reuters quoted a Goldman Sachs analysts' note as saying: "Although OPEC+ policy remains flexible, we believe the alliance will maintain its production ceiling unchanged after September, as we expect commercial inventories to accelerate in OECD countries and seasonal demand to decline."
Goldman Sachs also maintained its forecast for Brent crude prices, expecting the price of this crude to reach $64 per barrel in the fourth quarter and $56 by 2026. However, the analysts indicated that these forecasts could be revised in light of recent developments.
