Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity across parts of several governorates over the next 24 hours.
According to the center's weather bulletin, thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected across parts of the governorates of Dhale'a, Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, and Raymah.
Scattered rains, sometimes accompanied by thunder, are likely across parts of the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Mahwit, Amran, Sana'a, and the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, Bayda, Shabwah, Hadramaut, the Tihama Plain, and the southwestern coasts.
Very strong to very strong winds may blow around the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts.
The amount of rainfall measured at the Ma'afer Meteorological Station over the past 24 hours reached 1,000. Taiz: 4.6 mm.
The center warned citizens of thunderstorms and of being in or crossing floodwaters during and after rainfall. It also warned of mudslides and rockslides on mountain roads, and of reduced visibility due to rainfall and fog.
It also warned seafarers, fishermen, and ship captains of rough seas and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, in the Gulf of Aden, and along the eastern and southern coasts.
