Iranian judicial authorities announced on Wednesday the execution of an agent of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad who was spying for the Zionist enemy.
The Iranian Mehr News Agency reported that "Rouzbeh Wadi, an agent of the terrorist Mossad intelligence agency who was spying for the Zionist enemy, was executed after the case was examined and the final ruling was issued by the Supreme Court and through legal procedures."
The accused was active in one of the country's important and sensitive organizations, and due to his level of access, he became an attractive target for the Zionist entity's spy agency. He had also provided Mossad with information about one of the martyred nuclear scientists who was killed in the recent Israeli aggression.
For his part, the head of Iran's judiciary, Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei, said: "The Iranian judiciary will deal with spies firmly and in accordance with the law and justice."
Mohseni Ejei added, "During the comprehensive defense of the Iranian people against the aggression of the Zionist regime and the United States, we witnessed exemplary unity among this proud nation."
He continued, "Confronting spies is a justified demand par excellence, and accordingly, the Iranian judiciary will take the necessary measures in cooperation with the country's security institutions."
He explained, "The identification process is the responsibility of the intelligence agencies, and the judiciary will impose the necessary penalties on them based on justice and in accordance with prevailing legal regulations."
