London – Saba:
Arab and foreign activists organized a massive march in the British capital, London, on Saturday evening, condemning the genocide and starvation war committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Under the slogan "Stop Starving Gaza, Stop Arming Israel," protesters raised banners demanding that the British government and authorities arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for war crimes and as the primary responsible for the genocide carried out by the Israeli enemy in Gaza, according to the Palestinian Safa news agency.
Hundreds of Arab and foreign activists, along with thousands of citizens, participated in the march, which began at Russell Square—a public park in the heart of London and one of its most historic and cultural neighborhoods—and proceeded to Downing Street, the official residence of the British Prime Minister.
The march aimed to pressure the British government to halt arms exports to the Israeli entity, end the blockade on Gaza, and stop military and political support for Israel, amid growing international warnings of a humanitarian catastrophe and famine in the Strip due to the ongoing war since last October.
Protesters also called for justice for Palestinians through peaceful grassroots movements in British streets.
Palestinians in Gaza are facing an unprecedented wave of hunger since the Israeli enemy closed the Strip’s crossings in early March, imposing severe restrictions on the entry of food aid, relief supplies, fuel, and medicine.
With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has continued its genocidal crimes in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 61,369 Palestinian civilians, most of them children and women, and the injury of 152,850 others, according to a non-final toll. Thousands more remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, unreachable by rescue teams.
