Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that the Zionist entity attacked Iran with American guidance and support, explaining that this attack was part of American objectives.
IRNA reported that Pezeshkian's statement was made on the occasion of Iranian Journalists' Day during an unannounced visit he made Saturday morning to the headquarters of the Iranian Broadcasting Corporation (IRBC), where he inspected the Al-Khabar channel, which was attacked by the Zionist entity during the 12-day war.
Pzeshkian noted during his visit that the Zionist entity, under American guidance and support, attacked Iran, explaining that this attack was part of American objectives. He added that the enemies, through random attacks and the assassination of military leaders, scholars, and defenseless citizens, sought to spread chaos in Iran, but the people, through their presence on the ground and their steadfastness, achieved victory in this confrontation.
Pzeshkian emphasized that the media is the voice of the people, praising the journalists who convey the voice of the people's oppression in the face of Zionist aggression to the world. The Iranian president pointed out that the media can clarify the differences with transparency and clarity, adding: "During the 12-day Zionist-American war on Iran, the national media was a factor in strengthening the cohesion, unity, and comprehensive defense of the Iranian people in the face of this aggression."
He also explained that, thanks to the efforts of the commanders, the army, the Revolutionary Guards, the security forces, and the air defense, the enemy was forced to retreat from its aggression, adding: "Despite their claims of victory, the truth is that the real victory belonged to the Iranian people, their resistance, and their steadfastness."
