Occupied Palestine - Saba:
Dozens of activists demonstrated last Friday evening in the town of Abu Ghosh, west of Quds, to condemn the crime of genocide and starvation in the Gaza Strip. Another protest was held in the town of Kafr Qara in the Wadi Ara region of the occupied territories.
According to the Palestinian SAFA News Agency, the demonstrators raised banners bearing anti-siege slogans and pictures of child martyrs from Gaza. They also chanted slogans demanding an immediate end to the war and the entry of humanitarian aid into the besieged Strip. One of the participants in the vigil said, "What is happening in Gaza is a crime against humanity, and it is our duty to raise our voice against this brutality, especially in light of the world's silence and complicity."
A number of settlers gathered provocatively, waving Israeli flags and demanding the continuation of the war of starvation and genocide in Gaza.
In Kafr Qara, dozens of residents from the city and the Wadi Ara area participated in a protest at the first roundabout at the entrance to the city, rejecting the crime of genocide in the Gaza Strip and against the starvation policy pursued by the Israeli government in the Strip.
The protest was organized by the Popular Committee in Kafr Qara, and another vigil will be held next week, according to the Popular Committee.
The participants in the vigil held up banners demanding an end to the war and the Israeli starvation policy in the Gaza Strip. They raised slogans including "Children of Gaza are being killed by starvation," "Silence on the conspiracy is shameful," "Stop the crime of genocide," "Silence on the crime of starvation is a crime," and "Stop the starvation."
